Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region - Investors friendly

Dear Investors,

Regional Government pays great attention to the creation of good conditions for economic development. We spend every fourth Zloty from our Regional Operational Programme to support such undertakings. These funds are for investment in modern technologies and brand promotions. We have decided to use the funds from the ROP to develop investment of land in smaller towns. Regional authorities support the conversion of the cities Bydgoszcz and Toruń into metropolitan areas of European importance.

Our region provides good quality and well located road infrastructure such as the A1  motorway linking Scandinavia, through Gdańsk and Toruń, with  southern Poland and Europe as well as the National Trunk Roads: DK10 linking Szczecin with Warszawa through Bydgoszcz and Toruń, DK15 from Poznań through Toruń to Warmia and Mazury and the projected S-5 from Grudziadz through Bydgoszcz to Poznań and Wrocław (construction to be completed by 2020). The regional international airport in Bydgoszcz offers direct regular flights to Frankfurt am Main (FRA), London (Stansted and Luton) Kiev (Borispol and Zhuliyany), Birmingham, Dublin, Duesseldorf (Weeze) and Lviv (with LOT, Lufthansa Airlines and Ryanair), as well as the seasonal charter flights. Starting from 2nd April 2019 Ryanair will re-start flights to Glasgow Prestwick Airport

We are open for investors and this results in more frequent localisation of investments in this region by foreign investors. More than 196 thousand entities and  over 1800 companies with foreign capital are active in the region. Apart from that, we have 23 subzones of Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, 8 industrial / technology parks with the Centre for Technology Transfer in Toruń. We have prepared a business support system including an Investor's Assistance Centre, Credit Guarantee Fund and Loan Fund. It is worth mentioning that not only investors from the economic zones, but entrepreneurs locating their companies within these parks can also expect tax exemptions and benefits.

Kujawsko-Pomorskie is a perfect place to run a business and to locate direct investments. You can also relax and enjoy yourself here – there are many tourist attractions and cultural events, not to mention you can taste original regional dishes of the area.

I invite you to visit and invest in Kujawsko-Pomorskie.

Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region
