New sub-zones of Pomeranian Special Economic Zone


Based on the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 28 December 2016, we are pleased to announce the enlargement of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone in our voivodship by the new areas: Paterek (near Nakło n. Notecia), Grudziądz and Solec Kujawski.
New sub-zones of Pomeranian Special Economic Zone

Based on Article. 4 sec. 1 and Art. 5a. 1 of the Act of 20 October 1994 on Special Economic Zones (Journal of Laws of 2015, item 282 and 2016, items 1020 and 1206), the following is hereby ordered:

The § 1. art. 2 of a decree of the Council of Ministers of 15 December 2008 on Pomeranian Special Economic Zone (Law journal of 2016 pos. 2157) is amended as  follows:
the zone covers the area of 2 246,2929 hectares, is located in the urban areas of Biała Podlaska, Brodnica, Bydgoszcz, Czarnków, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Grudziądz, Inowrocław, Kwidzyn, Lipno, Łeba, Malbork, Piła, Rypin,Stargard, Starogard Gdański, Tczew, Toruń and Włocławek and the following communes (gminy): 
Barcin, Chojnice, Czarna Woda, Czarnków, Człuchów, Gniewino, Grudziądz, Janikowo, Kowalewo Pomorskie, Krokowa, Liniewo, Lipno, Nakło nad Notecią, Pakość, Police, Solec Kujawski, Sztum, Świecie, Tczew and Wąbrzeźno.

All newly announced three sub-zones lay in the area of existing industrial parks and will play the vital role in the development of local entrepreneurship and further reduction of unemployment.
