Another success for Bydgoszcz and Torun in international business rankings.


Once again, Bydgoszcz and Toruń were ranked high in international business rankings. Following Bydgoszcz's success in the Doing Business in Poland 2015 ranking (Bydgoszcz took the first place) this time the Financial Times has been investigating the Polish cities’: strategies for attracting foreign investors, climate for investors, transport and communication values, living costs and living standards. The results of the "Cities and Regions of the Future 2017/2018" ranking developed by fDi Intelligence have just been presented to the public.

The results of the "Cities and Regions of the Future 2017/2018" ranking,  developed by the fDi Intelligence  have just been presented to the public.

Thanks to the dynamic development of Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park and many Bydgoszcz located companies connected with big international brands (eg. IKEA, Rolls Royce), Bydgoszcz was on the

       4th place in Poland in terms of efficiency of strategies for attracting foreign investors.

 

In the remaining categories, our largest cities were listed at:

 - 9th place for Bydgoszcz (big cities) and 5th place for Torun (medium sized cities)

                             In the category of quality of human capital and quality of life

  - 3rd place for Bydgoszcz (Top 5 big cities)

                             In the cost-effectiveness category

 - 5th place for Toruń (Top 5 in the middle sized cities category)

                             In the category of business-friendly
